Tour Program
Day 1- July 30, 2026: Depart Taiwan- Overnight in Beijing
You will depart from Taiwan and arrive in Beijing. After landing, you will go to a nearby airport hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2- July 31, 2026: Arrival in Irkutsk, Russia
Arrive in Irkutsk and transfer to the hotel. After settling in, we will have a meal and visit a local supermarket.
Day 3- August 1, 2026: Lake Baikal Experience
Morning: Travel from Irkutsk to Listvyanka Village by private bus. Visit the Baikal Limnological Museum and stop by the local fish and souvenir market.
Afternoon: Take the chairlift to the Chersky Mountain Observation Point and enjoy the view of Lake Baikal.
Evening: Spend the evening in Listvyanka. Watch the sunset and have a home-style dinner.
Day 4- August 2, 2026: Take a cruise on Lake Baikal- Take chairlift to Cherishki View Point
Morning: Take a two-hour boat ride on Lake Baikal, then hike for two hours along the lakeshore near Shaman Rock.
Afternoon: Visit a local Russian family to learn about their daily life, traditions, and culture.
Evening: Return to your accommodation and relax. Take a walk by the lake and enjoy your last evening in Baikal.
Day 5- August 3, 2026: Taltsy Museum - Irkutsk Sightseeing Tour
Morning: After breakfast, check out and return to Irkutsk. On the way, visit the Taltsy Museum of Wooden Architecture.
Afternoon: Explore Irkutsk, including the Volkonsky House Museum, Kazan Church, and the Cathedral of the Epiphany.
Evening: Take a walk along the Angara River, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 6- August 4, 2026: Train Journey to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Board the Trans-Siberian train from Irkutsk in the morning and travel to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. A packed breakfast will be provided before departure.
Day 7- August 5, 2026: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB), Mongolia & Full-Day City Tour
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar in the morning, where your driver will meet you at the station. Have breakfast first, then begin your city tour.
Morning: Visit Chinggis Khaan Square and continue to the Chinggis Khaan Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Mongol Empire.
Afternoon: Visit Gandan Monastery, an important Buddhist center, and see the 26-meter Migjid Janraisig statue.
Evening: Return to your hotel to rest.
Day 8- August 6, 2026: Terelj National Park – Turtle Rock & Aryabal Temple
Morning: After breakfast, depart Ulaanbaatar for Terelj National Park, about 1.5 hours from the city. Visit Turtle Rock, a well-known granite formation shaped like a turtle.
Afternoon: Continue to the Aryabal Meditation Temple. Walk up the hillside path and enjoy views of the surrounding area.
Evening: Arrive at the tourist ger camp and settle into your Ger. Spend the evening in the quiet natural surroundings.
Day 9-August 7, 2026: Nomadic Family Visit & Horse Riding
Morning: Drive about 1 hour to visit a Mongolian nomadic family. Learn about their traditional lifestyle and daily herding activities.
Afternoon: Enjoy a short, guided horse-riding experience. Lunch features Khorhog, a traditional Mongolian barbecue cooked with hot stones. Taste local dairy products such as butter, cheese, yogurt, and curd.
Evening: Return to Terelj and relax at the ger camp.
Day 10-August 8, 2026: Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex & Return to Ulaanbaatar
Morning: After breakfast, drive to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, the tallest equestrian statue in the world. Visit the observation deck and the small museum inside.
Afternoon: Return to Ulaanbaatar and visit a local department store for souvenir shopping, including Gobi cashmere and traditional crafts.
Evening: Attend a traditional Mongolian cultural performance with throat singing (huumii), and folk dance
Day 11- August 9, 2026: Return to Taiwan
You will be transferred to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for your flight back to Taiwan.
